Amy joined Spark as an Assistant Principal for the 16-17 school year and continued in that role for the 17-18 school year. She has been a major contributor to the success of their students and teachers – pushing Spark to be the top ranked school in its district! Prior to joining Spark, Amy made waves as an ELA/Social Studies teacher in Louisiana for five years before expanding her impact as a founding teacher and AP at a charter school in New Orleans. That school became a “Top Gains School” in its first year and continued to grow into a “B” school. Amy earned her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Alabama and is working on her Master’s in Education Leadership.
