Are you looking for educational activities for your child this week? To help you navigate recent school closures, Rocketship’s team of educational experts shared their top children’s podcasts so young learners can stay entertained.<\/p>\n

1. Stories Podcast <\/a><\/strong>
\nThis child-friendly podcast performs a new story for children every week. Stories range from retellings of fairy tales like Snow White to classic stories like Peter Rabbit and even completely original works if you probably haven’t heard yet. Everything is G-rated and safe for all ages.<\/p>\n

2. Reading Bug Adventures <\/a><\/strong>
\nReady to fly? Created by a local, independent bookstore in San Carlos, Reading Bug Adventures takes children on a fantastical journey exploring new books, concepts, and worlds all while soaring on Reading Bug’s magic book bag. Don’t forget to bring paper and crayons to color your own illustrations along the way.<\/p>\n

3. Brains On<\/a>\"\"<\/strong>
\nBrains On is an award-winning audio show for kids and families. Each week, a different child co-host joins Molly Bloom to find answers to fascinating questions about the world. Its mission is to encourage kids\u2019 natural curiosity and wonder using science and history. But there\u2019s no age limit on curiosity! Episodes of Brains On are enjoyed by all.<\/p>\n

4. Wow in the World <\/a><\/strong>
\nIn this NPR for Kids podcast, hosts Mindy Thomas and Guy Raz guide curious children and their grown-ups on a journey into the wonders of the world around them. They go inside their brains, out into space and deep into the coolest new stories in science and technology.<\/p>\n

5. But Why: A Podcast For Curious Kids<\/a>\"\"<\/strong>
\nBut Why<\/em> is a show led by little ones. Children ask the questions and they find the answers. It\u2019s a big, interesting world out there. 7. KidNuz<\/a>\"\"<\/strong>
\nChildren like to be informed and engaged, but talking to kids about the news\u00a0can be a challenge. This podcast, created by moms who are broadcast journalists, offers young listeners five minutes of kid-friendly news (followed by a quick quiz) each day, five days a week. Perfectly timed for waking up, KidNuz lets you start the day off on a worldy note.
