Rocketship families, did you know we have multiple charter renewals happening this month and year? Whether you’re new to Rocketship or have been with us for years, this may be the first time you’re hearing this phrase.<\/p>\n
Simply put, the charter renewal period is an incredibly important time when your Rocketship school is re-evaluated by the local school board to determine whether it can stay open for another five years. During these two critical hearings, Rocketeer families share their experiences about their time at Rocketship and show up virtually or in-person to show their support.<\/p>\n
Rocketship Futuro Academy recently had its charter renewal hearing and was granted another five years, which both teachers and families are thrilled about! On November 16th our Washington DC school will have their first 5-year review and on November 18th Rocketship Discovery Prep and Rocketship Rising Stars in San Jose will have their charter renewal hearings.<\/p>\n
