At Rocketship, this starts with our annual home visits.<br \/>\nThis annual practice enables our educators to learn about their students\u2019 home environments, family structures, unique interests, and to develop deeper relationships with parents. By creating multiple opportunities for families<br \/>\nto engage throughout the year, we\u2019re able to support Rocketeers holistically and connect with families authentically.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cIt was eye-opening\u2014for the family and for me. Growing up, my parents didn\u2019t speak English and never had that connection with my teachers.
