Aqeel, una dedicada educadora en Rocketship Dream Community Prep, para conocer tres maneras sencillas en que ella se conecta con los padres cada semana. 1. Chequeos Semanales: Manteniendo Abierta la Comunicaci\u00f3n<\/b><\/h2>\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo se mantiene en contacto con los padres cada semana?<\/b><\/p>\n

En Dream, utilizamos diferentes plataformas de comunicaci\u00f3n como Dojo, ParentSquare y correo electr\u00f3nico, pero mi favorita personal es el texto. Las llamadas son dif\u00edciles de contestar durante el horario escolar y no quiero perderme ning\u00fan mensaje importante que llegue. La mayor\u00eda de mis padres se comunican despu\u00e9s del horario, una vez que han tenido tiempo de procesar el d\u00eda de sus hijos.<\/p>\n

P: \u00bfTiene una estrategia para hacer la comunicaci\u00f3n f\u00e1cil y efectiva?<\/b><\/p>\n

Al comienzo de cada a\u00f1o escolar, comparto mi n\u00famero de tel\u00e9fono directo con los padres para emergencias. Ese peque\u00f1o gesto genera confianza de inmediato. Si saben que pueden contactarme cuando sea necesario, se sienten m\u00e1s conectados con el aula.<\/p>\n

R: \u00bfPuedes compartir un ejemplo de cu\u00e1ndo un simple registro tuvo un gran impacto?<\/b><\/p>\n

\"A principios de a\u00f1o, una madre se puso en contacto conmigo preocupada por acoso escolar. Su hijo se hab\u00eda transferido a Dream debido a experiencias pasadas y ella tem\u00eda que estuviera ocurriendo de nuevo. Le asegur\u00e9 que lo investigar\u00eda de inmediato. Tras investigar, confirm\u00e9 el problema y tom\u00e9 medidas inmediatas: ajust\u00e9 los asientos, abord\u00e9 el comportamiento y mantuve informados a los padres. Gracias a la comunicaci\u00f3n abierta, evitamos perder una familia valiosa. \u00bfY los dos alumnos implicados ahora? Est\u00e1n en el mismo club de lectura y, de hecho, \u00a1disfrutan de la compa\u00f1\u00eda mutua!\"<\/p>\n

\u201c\u00a1S\u00ed! Cada padre se comunica de manera diferente, as\u00ed que me adapto a sus preferencias. A algunos padres les encanta Dojo, otros prefieren los mensajes de texto, y algunos simplemente llaman para hacer preguntas r\u00e1pidas, como consultar el c\u00f3digo de vestimenta para un evento. Creo que los padres se involucran m\u00e1s cuando ven el lado humano de los maestros. Mi familia participa mucho en actividades extraescolares e invito a los padres a unirse siempre que sea posible.
