Dr. Christina Hanson joined Rocketship in 2021 as the founding principal of our first school in Texas. Christina is a Southeast Fort Worth native who knows what it’s like to be a student, mother, teacher, and principal in our community. Christina brings years of experience in the Fort Worth Independent School District as a teacher, curriculum coach, and skilled school leader to Rocketship. She also brings her own children Chrisette and Malachi as founding Rocketeers! Christina believes deeply in the power of parent partnership to transform communities, and puts parents at the center of RDDE and her work in Stop Six. Dr. Hanson received her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary students from the University of North Texas, her Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Texas Christian University, and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Tarleton State University.
