Karina began her work with Rocketship as a founding teacher at Rocketship Spark. After three amazing years as a teacher, she was promoted to Assistant Principal at Rocketship Spark, and later to Principal at Rocketship Redwood City Prep. Karina is passionate about the role that education plays in social justice and is deeply committed to ensuring that low-income communities have access to the resources and tools to advocate for their students and their futures. Karina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from Cal State Sacramento and a Master’s Degree in Education from USF.
