Margaret Riley King, Partner and Literary Agent, William Morris Endeavor

Margaret Riley King has been a partner and literary agent at WME since 2007, where she began her career after graduating from Princeton University. She represents both literary and commercial fiction, along with narrative nonfiction, memoir, and lifestyle titles in the areas of food, home, faith/spirituality, and well-being.

Clients and projects represented include Chloe Benjamin, author of the New York Times bestselling novel The Immortalists; #1 NYT bestselling author Glennon Doyle; international bestselling writing duo Sarah Pekkanen and Greer Hendricks; award-winning author Sue Monk Kidd; record breaking author of The Glass Castle, Jeannette Walls; NYT bestselling author and two-time Olympic gold medalist Abby Wambach, Ann Brashares; New York Times bestselling author and speaker Nadia Bolz-Weber; Newbery Award winner Sheila Turnage among others.

She splits her time between New York City and her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, where she lives with her husband and two daughters.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors of TEDxNashville and the Harpeth Hall Alumnae Association Board.
