Paul Hickerson is a twenty-year veteran of the General Electric (GE) company and currently serves as the Global Director for Strategic Pricing at GE Healthcare. Prior to his current role, Paul led Service Delivery Excellence for the North and South American Service businesses, with an employee base of over 5,000.
Paul joined GE Medical Systems (now GE Healthcare) in 1998, on its Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP). In 1999, he was selected to join GE’s Corporate Audit Staff based in Fairfield, CT, where he traveled the globe working on numerous key initiatives. During this period, he gained valuable exposure to several GE business units, including GE Capital, NBC, GE Aviation, and GE Power Systems.
Paul is a native of North Carolina. He graduated from North Carolina Agriculture & Technical State University (NC A&T SU) with undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Physics, as well as, a master’s in Industrial & System Engineering. He was inducted into the Alpha Pi Mu Engineering Honor Society.
Paul is a Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and currently serves on the Executive Board of its Milwaukee Alumni Chapter. He’s a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and serves as the Vice President for Economic Development for the Greater Milwaukee Chapter of 100 Black Men, Inc.
Paul maintains his passion for education. He continues to mentor students at NC A&T SU where he leads recruiting efforts for the College of Business and Economics. Paul has served on several panels discussing the importance of STEM education and the transition from college to the workforce.
He is married to Tiffany Hickerson and they have two sons, Tyler and Peyton.
