Rashida Tyler is Managing Director of Networks for Leading Educators and has worked in public education in Washington, DC for the past 16 years. Prior to joining Leading Educators, Rashida was a Senior Manager at the DC Public Charter School Board for 7 years. At DC PCSB, she partnered with school leaders to develop the school board’s Performance Management Framework, was responsible for designing the Qualitative Site Review process, and managed the Charter Review and Renewal process for several years. Rashida has a deep commitment to and passion for supporting the educational needs of students in Washington, as evidenced by her years of service as a DC public and public charter school principal, math coach and teacher. Rashida graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems, and has also earned her Master of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching from Pace University, and a Master of Arts in Education Administration and Supervision from Trinity Washington University.
