Shivesh joined Rocketship in June 2017 as an Assistant Principal and rose to become the proud principal at Rocketship Si Se Puede. Before joining Rocketship, Shivesh was a TFA corps member and 5/6th grade reading, writing, and social studies teacher for KIPP Leadership Academy in New Orleans for four years. While at KIPP, Shivesh was an Instructional Coach, Director of the Leadership Development Internship Program, and a Founding Member of the Executive Director Advisor Committee for TFA of Greater New Orleans. Shivesh has a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Affairs and Global Development Studies from the University of Virginia.
