What’s happens in 180 days of learning, growth and fun? Each school year at Rocketship is a unique and extraordinary journey from beginning to end, and we never quite grasp how much we’ve grown until we look back. So much goes into making each school year the best one yet for our Rocketeers, while still saving all the necessary, silly and bittersweet things we hope never change. Here’s a small snapshot of our 2014-2015 year in photos, from celebrating brand new schools to studying spiders at science camp, to making new friends and memories.

We sincerely hope this answers the question, “So, what exactly làm we do this year?”

: We learned lots of new things with our excellent teachers.

: We practiced our sight words.

: We worked together.

: We trekked to Yosemite for a stellar science camp.

: We sang and danced (a lot)!

: We practiced our social emotional skills.

: We made friends with some NBA champs.

: We celebrated our cultures (and new school openings).

: We played dress up and performed our hearts out.

: We had an absolute ball at the Special Olympics!

: We showed off our artistic side.

: We were proud of our super behavior.

: We hit the playground and ran and climbed and jumped…

: We conducted lots of eggcelent experiments!

: We broke ground on new schools for future Rocketeers.

: We showed our school pride…

: …and our class pride (and college readiness).
