Black History Month 2023

Throughout February, Rocketeers across the network had a special focus on Black History Month in the classroom. Lessons and celebrations looked different at every campus, but some of the festivities included research projects, art projects, dance performances, and more.

Celebrating our students’ cultures in the classroom is an important part of helping them build their identity, as well as cultivating empathy and respect for others. Below you can find some photos and videos of the different events that happened at our schools for Black History Month!
