Kerry Flanagan serves as the National Chief of Staff, guiding the ongoing advancement of Rocketship’s strategy and growth, data systems, analytics, and technology solutions. As a military brat, Kerry has a mission first, people always orientation. She brings a growth mindset and over 30 years of experience in K-12 public education. During her time as a teacher in the Commonwealth of Virginia (Chesapeake and Virginia Beach Public Schools), Chief of Staff for San Diego City Schools and the California Charter Schools Association, and an educational consultant to traditional public school districts, charter public schools, and nonprofits, Kerry has been blessed by mentors who have opened doors to opportunities for her, y she strives to pay it forward.

Kerry resides in California. She earned her Master of Arts in Political Science from San Diego State University and graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College with a Bachelors of Arts in Secondary Education, Social Studies.
