Alexandra (Alex) McGroarty serves as Rocketship’s Chief Human Resources Officer, while also leading her own firm as Founder & Managing Partner of McGroarty & Co. A seasoned HR leader and coach, Alex brings deep global experience—spanning North America, South America, EMEA, India, Malaysia, Australia, and APAC—helping organizations build high-retention, high-engagement cultures rooted in equity and impact. Alex has extensive experience in the nonprofit space, having served in interim HR Leadership roles at Leading Educators, The Human Rights Campaign, and ETS, to name a few.

Throughout her career, Alex has led talent strategy, employee development, and DEI initiatives across sectors, combining people analytics with a strong commitment to social impact. She holds a Certified Diversity Professional credential from the National Diversity Council, is a Certified Professional Coach, and recently earned Cornell’s Graduate Certificate in Corporate Sustainability and SHRM’s People Analytics Specialty Credential (SHRM-PASC).
