Working to create equal access to opportunity for all can be exhausting, frustrating, even heartbreaking at times. Every day brings a new challenge. Rocketship teachers, parents, and school leaders work together to solve every new riddle our Rocketeers throw at us. And that’s what makes the lightbulb moments all the more gratifying. This is hard work, but it is worth it.

Coaching is a collaboration at Rocketship. Our team of school leaders provides instructional frameworks, professional development, and real-time coaching for teachers every single week. Just as our teachers invest their time and energy in the growth of their students, we invest our time and energy in the growth of our teachers.

If we are going to eliminate the achievement gap we must develop strong partnerships between families and schools. Our teachers partner closely with our parents to understand the unique needs of every student. By doing so, our parents are more deeply invested in their own student’s learning and become lifelong advocates for educational excellence.
