Kimberly Hung is the principal of Rocketship Sí Se Puede. Ms. Hung’s journey with Rocketship began at Sí Se Puede, where she spent five years as an integrated special education teacher, working with students across grades TK through 5. She built a classroom centered on meeting every student’s unique needs while fostering a deep love of learning. In her current role as Assistant Principal, Ms. Hung has coached teachers across multiple grade levels and specialties, always leading with strong relationships, instructional excellence, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child. She began her career in education through Teach for America, working in a middle school special day class, and has continued to dedicate herself to supporting diverse learners ever since. Ms. Hung holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Disability Studies from UCLA and a master’s degree in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University.
