Kamilah is Vice President of the Long Term Care Department of Northwestern Mutual and President and CEO of the Northwestern Long Term Care Insurance Company – a wholly owned subsidiary. She was appointed an executive officer effective February 1, 2015. In this role, Kamilah is responsible for leading the long term care product vision and strategy, managing product line performance, and overseeing LTC operations. Since joining Northwestern Mutual in 1999 as an underwriter, Kamilah has held leadership roles in the life and disability income product lines, Human Resources and Career Distribution.
Williams-Kemp earned a B.S. degree from Northwestern University and an MBA with honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She serves on the board of Rocketship – Milwaukee, part of a national non-profit network of public elementary charter schools. In 2016, recognized by Savoy Magazine as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America. She is married to Jason Kemp and they have one son.
