23 Schools Strong in 2023

A couple of weeks ago, we officially cut the ribbon on our 23rd school, Rocketship Explore Elementary in Fort Worth, Texas. Through our model and vision of community investment, this beautiful, vibrant campus replaced an abandoned building in east Fort Worth.

In the 2023 school year across our now 23 schools, we are honored to serve more than 11,000 Rocketeers each day. Throughout the course of 16 years, we have served more than 30,000 students and their families. Every single Rocketeer who walks through our doors receives a personalized education with individualized support – both academically and social emotionally – to help them defy the destiny of demographics.

And it’s working. A June 2023 Stanford CREDO study of over 3 million public school students highlighted Rocketship Public Schools as one of the charter sector’s “gap busting” networks that are providing empirical proof that high-quality public education is possible anywhere. The study found that our Rocketeers gained the equivalent of five to seven months in reading and math of additional learning in a single school year.

Over the past 16 years, we have truly raised all Rocketeers’ achievements and unleashed thousands upon thousands of Rocketeers’ potential. Throughout our history, we’ve learned a lot and continued to push ourselves to grow and innovate. We will not stop until every single Rocketeer, their family, our educators, and all of our communities can thrive.
