Abel Ibarra is the Principal of Rocketship Alma Academy. Mr. Ibarra is a first-generation Mexican college graduate. His passion has always been to be a teacher and has achieved that dream since his college graduation. He has worked with TK-8th grade throughout his teaching career. He believes that the community should be able to see themselves represented in the leadership of the school which is why he became an Assistant Principal and now a Principal. Serving his students and families is what drives him to work every single day because they continue to push him and challenge him to be a better educator.
