Nia Belvin is Principal at Rocketship Delta Prep. As a lifelong resident of the Bay Area, Nia is excited to be able to serve a school community that neighbors the city she grew up in. She joined Rocketship Futuro Academy in Concord as an Enrichment Teacher in 2017 and taught as a STEM Content Teacher there from 2018-2021. From there, Nia transitioned into a leadership role as an Assistant Principal and served Rocketship Sí Se Puede Academy in San Jose for two years. While at Sí Se Puede, Nia managed, coached and led the STEM team, the learning lab, enrichment team members and the Transitional Kindergarten team. Nia received her undergraduate degree from San Jose State University and her Master’s degree in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University.
